Description

The Wes by Foster Grant is a pair of men’s reading glasses that utilizes a Multi Focus lens combined with a black, metal, and full rectangle frame. The Multi Focus lens allows the user to not only read with them but to use them for short distances and interactions. This is possible due to the bottom of the frame being the normal strength needed to read while the power of the middle of the frame is slightly less than the normal strength for short distances, and the top of the frame provides half the power, perfect for interacting.

Foster Grant,

I am not one to send positive or negative messages to retailers, basically because it's time consuming. I have, on occasion, let retailers know when their products fail miserably at meeting expectations. Rarely do I contact retailers to praise them on their merchandise, but that is what I'm doing now.
I'm 52 years old and my eyesight has been deteriorating normally as age sets in. I have purchased numerous pairs of reading glasses and I even have a drawer similar to Fred Sanford's eyeglass drawer. I recently gave in and went to the optometrist to purchase a set of progressive lens glasses because I constantly kept having to change glasses. The price of these glasses were over $600 and came with the promise that these were the answer to my eyesight problems. To put it bluntly, those glasses sucked I demanded a refund. I did receive a full refund but my eyesight problems still existed. In my internet search I found your MultiFocus glasses and decided to give them a try, it definitely couldn't be worse than the optometrist. When I received them last week, I immediately put them on and I could not believe it. I can see room distance, I can see computer distance and I can see reading distance, it is amazing. I ordered a separate pair online with one step lower in strength and those are perfect for driving, I can see distance and I can see the dash. I have ordered another pair today just to have an extra pair. I am writing this letter to Thank you! You have made me a very happy person!

Thank you,

Yes, but in another model

By

from Benecia, Ca.

Comments about Foster Grant Wes:

I've had 3 pairs of the WES model. Lenses are great but the nose bridge welds break fairly easily if you happen to bend them. If you're rough on glasses, another model with a molded frame would be a better choice. The lense clarity is as good or better than the prescription pair I had!

Temple Are too Short

By

from Orlando, FL

Comments about Foster Grant Wes:

Good glasses overall but the temple arm is not 140 mm. I have the Wes and the James and those are a true 140 mm. Also, I have had 3 pairs of these and they break more easily than the others.

Excellent product best option for readers.

By

from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Comments about Foster Grant Wes:

Almost the best readers ever. l would make 1 suggestion. IF the top of the lens gradually changed to clear like a progressive lens these glasses would meet all my requirements at a reasonable cost.

Comments about Foster Grant Wes:

If in need of a pair of glasses for reading, and computer work, here they are. If you only need glasses forclose work, these glasses offer threee sweet spots for close work. Ordering from this company was not the best experience. No commuication with shipping, or even when I emailed for assistance after two weeks. I finally did get them, and am amazed a the optics and quality for theprice. Thank you.for the price.

Comments about Foster Grant Wes:

I was in Port Angeles, Washington with family. We took a ferry across the bay to Victoria, Canada to see their museum and spend the day. We were half way to the port and I realized I forgot me reading glasses. Went into a Rexall Drug Store in Victoria and found these Foster Grant progressive reading glasses. They turned out to be the best. I now buy them on the internet and have two pair, one for work and one for home. They work great for the computer! Thanks Foster Grant!!!
