You’re not contained to one task so why should your reading glasses be? Foster Grant proudly introduces the Multi Focus lens, a lens that allows you to go from reading, to working on your computer, and then to interacting with others. This universal, plastic, and rectangle frame comes in a tortoise print with the top of the lens made for interacting, the middle of the lens for distance, and the bottom of the lens for reading with each level being a different strength. Just like you, this lens can do it all.

I happened to find these when I left my usual readers at home and had to run out to the drug store by my office to get an emergency pair. They've turned out to be the most useful glasses I've had. The multiple focal lengths mean I don't have to take them off all the time and because they're so comfortable, I don't even feel like I want to. Last month I left them at a friend's house right before I was going out of town so I ordered something similar online and they were okay. But yesterday I finally got my FG Conan readers back and realize how much better they really are. I'm planning to buy a couple backup pairs so I don't have to worry about losing them again!

I am on my fourth pair in a year. They work very well as multifocus readers and are really comfortable. However, the arms will break under pressure and cannot be repaired. I've tried several times to make a good pair out of two broken pair with no luck. These are too fragile for the cost. Also, they do scratch. I was hoping to avoid buying $120 frames and lens but the breakeven (pun intended) is here. Next break will lead me to buy a more durable set of frames. I recommend these with this watch out. Be more careful than you think you should be.

In terms of vision and style and comfort 5 Stars, but they b

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

On my 3rd pair of these readers. Love love love the way they look, the way they fit (extremely comfortable and don't leave a mark on each side of my nose), and most of all how well they assist my vision in terms of being able to wear them basically 24/7 without ever having to remove them to improve vision in different situations, but there is 1 drawback. They break! For me the problem has not been the "arms" breaking but the frame itself breaking. They are fragile glasses so if Foster Grant could design these frames to just be a bit more durable, then they would be well worth the price! (a bit pricey for readers but with a slight improvement in strength, they would be worth every cent!).

I'm buying another pair (within 24 hours)

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

I have been wearing glasses to read since I was twelve years old (aka bookworm/Miss Librarian). Now 52, I have two prescriptions, one for distance and one for reading. I just don't like progressive lenses. It's so very easy to lose your balance while wearing and fall down if your eyes rest in between the blurring line. Long story short, I have been secretly wishing for someone to make these kinds of glasses. Hey, please make sunglasses like this too! I wear my distance glasses while driving at night. During the day, I have sunglasses with the readers on the bottom of the glasses, just like these from Coach. This is a more comfortable way to wear reading glasses. The other thing is, well, being over fifty, I don't look I am until I put on a pair of readers. Wearing these, I continue to look younger than my age without compromising my eyesight. Thank you Foster Grant. Please continue to make attractive readers that are a necessary accessory. There affordable enough to own a few pairs.

Love them, BUT...

By

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

I am on my 2nd pair of these glasses. I am on the computer all day and really needed something more than "just a pair of reading glasses". These are perfect! However, there is a very annoying, nearly invisible, imprint on the outer corner of both lenses that really bothers me. I keep feeling like I need to clean the glasses. It took me a while to figure it out because this imprint was not present on the first pair that I bought. The 2nd pair also has what appears to be a darker lens than my first pair - they definitely applied some type of coating to the lens. This is annoying as well because for some reason it gives the feeling that they need to be cleaned. I went to the store to try the other styles but they all seem to have the same issues. What happened? Why the changes? Please fix these problems and go back to the way you made them when they first came out. Maybe I am just super sensitive but I liked them better before. If not for these things, they would be perfect!

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

I was having problems seeing the computer screen with my traditional reading glasses. These solved the problem. Able to Read closer then be able to read computer screen with out having to lean forward. Quality built, comfortable to wear.

I JUST BOUGHT THEM LAST WEEK SO I COULD READ AFTER CATARACT SURGERY MADE MY BIFOCALS OBSOLETE. THE TRIPLE FOCUS WORKS GREAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS THAT THEY ARE NOT SCRATCH RESISTANT LIKE THEY CLAIM.

Nice glasses

By

from Loveland, OH

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

I like that I can leave these on for reading, computer, watching tv, or driving. I don't have to take them off and switch glasses. I've started having difficulty reading at 2.75 and wish they made the glasses with higher magnifications. Also, it would be nice to have more attractive designs for women.

Would buy again.

Comments about Foster Grant Conan:

For me, theses are similar to bifocals. I can look through the top for distance instead of peering over. I realize the line is pretty new, so my request is an xl frame for a larger face shape.
