Don’t Let Your FSA Dollars Expire!
As the year comes to a close, don’t forget your FSA dollars expire! If you’re shopping for reading glasses, SunReaders®, Blue Light e.Readers™, Multi Focus™ or any other reader-style glasses, they are FSA-eligible and a practical way to spend any remaining FSA dollars.
Note: FSA funds can only be used on corrective eyewear, which does not include: sunglasses, Night Drivers, or Fits Over styles. If your cart includes any non-eligible items, please remove them from your cart before submitting your order using your FSA card.
What About My Health Savings Account (HSA)?
Similar to an FSA, you can use HSA funds on reading glasses! Unlike an FSA, the money in your HSA account does not expire.
How Do I Use My FSA or HSA Funds on FosterGrant.com?
Using your FSA or HSA funds to pay for your reading glasses purchase is as simple as entering your FSA or HSA credit card information (affiliated with a major credit card provider like Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express) as the form of payment at checkout. If you don’t have a card linked to your account, contact your account provider for information on reimbursement for your purchase.
If your FSA or HSA card is declined but there are sufficient funds in your account, it may be that the provider needs to verify your purchase. Place an order using an alternate payment method and then submit an itemized receipt to your account provider for reimbursement. Your order confirmation email can be used as an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.
From May 20, 2020 through May 31, 2022, FGX Direct LLC will donate a pair of reading glasses for every pair of eyewear purchased on FosterGrant.com to RestoringVision, the world’s largest nonprofit provider of reading glasses to people in need living in disadvantaged communities around the world. Donated product may differ from purchased product. Not currently available to customers living in Alabama, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Mississippi, or South Carolina, or outside the United States.
